So, here are the pictures from the work that I finished up on my friends house. As you can see, I had to make 2 new stringers for the sides of the steps. I installed new posts, the Doug Fir stair treads and new kicks, which were painted before they were installed to prolong the life of them. The cabinet next to the dishwasher is also all wrapped up and painted. You can also see in the pictures that I made a new door to fit the cabinet that matches the rest of the cabinet doors.
So here are the stringers and posts as the steps start going back together

I then cut the back in so it will sit into the cabinet
Routed the edges and put the trim on the outside.
There it is ready for paint
